Commercial break: adulthood continued

Adulthood is realizing that people may not love you as much as you love yourself.

Adulthood is realizing traffic sucks, but sometimes it’s the only thing standing between you and your friends. So you sit for half an hour in a parking lot on the freeway starving so you can enjoy good company and food.

Adulthood is eating cheese for three meals because it was expensive and you had to get your money’s worth.

Adulthood is realizing that sometimes, just sometimes, it’s okay to make poor life decisions. And it makes life more interesting.

Adulthood is recognizing that being serious all the time is hard work and takes more energy.

Adulthood is realizing that sometimes making the big decisions means giving up something.

Adulthood is recognizing that you are in control of your life and you are your number 1.  If you don’t take care of yourself, you will never move forward at the rate you should and you will always wonder.

Adulthood is coming to terms with the fact that regret should never be an option.

Adulthood is saying to yourself “that’s enough spicy puffy cheetos in one sitting….”

Adulthood is realizing that your friends and family are by far the best support system in the world.

Adulthood is recognizing that getting outside of your comfort zone is the only way you will grow.

Adulthood is finally saying “I can do this. I will try and I will conquer.”
