I’ve been on travel for so long and I’ve noticed that whenever I start to travel, my daily routines tend to take the biggest hit. I haven’t run/exercised in over two months. In fact the last time I ran, I did the worst time I’ve ever done for a 10K and it was discouraging. I’ve also noticed that I am not doing a good job taking care of myself.
Immediately after I got to the point where I had a few weeks to rest, my body shut down and I had to take about two days off of work to rest. I think the fact that I wasn’t sleeping, the jetlag, the lack of proper eating and lack of overall health care resulted in definitely feeling worn down.
So as a result, I’ve signed up for a race. December 13th, I will be running in another race again for Every Mother Counts.
We shall see how this goes….Do you have any advice for getting back to your regular routine?
