It’s Thursday. And for some today is Thanksgiving, a day where one is thankful and eats an excessive amount of food.
Today, I’m thankful for so many things that listing them may take the rest of my life because it would never stop growing. But, at a high level I am thankful for the people in my life, my experiences I’ve had, the opportunities that have been placed in front of me and my life in general. Sometimes I forget about that the little things make all the difference but it’s good to remember those little things and appreciate them. Today, I’m very thankful for all of it.
My Thanksgivings have always been an interesting experience. I’ve spent them with family, friends, family friends, alone, in different states, and once in Guatemala. I really enjoy this day because it supports one of my favorite hobbies, eating. But, my Thanksgiving dinners don’t typically have the standard Thanksgiving day food. The turkey is sometimes present, but not always. As seen from the featured picture, my Thanksgiving day dinners are usually filled with an excessive amount of Chinese food which is amazing. This year, I don’t get to spend Thanksgiving with my family which is hard but unfortunately a step in the process of growing up. I’ll miss my family and the home cooking. Let’s hope I can make something just as awesome in honor of my family.
Happy Thanksgiving! (Turkey day, Thursday, massive food coma day)!
